Click on “Start” –>Run –> type cmd and click on OK.
Here I assume your pen drive letter as G:
Enter this command.
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
You can copy the above command –> Right-click in the Command Prompt and paste it.
Note: Don’t forget to replace the letter g with your pen drive letter.
Now press “Enter”.
Now check for your files and folder in Pen Drive.

some little thing is missing ,, first scan and fix “flash/pen drive” with a good antivirus
then open command prompt … and then enter the command “attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*”
look you need to change the letter “g” with actual drive letter ; may be ‘h’ or ‘f’ or any thing else..
remember type the command and then press enter. wait few second and then go… it will be fine 🙂

Thanx for the steps. it really helped & i could able to retrieve my files. I also understand the comments of others. but i would like to say that, once u retrieve the files in pen drive, u will be having the short cuts as well as original files. You can move the original files to desktop & format the pen/flash drive to remove any virus. this way u are safe with your data as well as ur pen drive. Don’t get confused if u find both short cut icons as well as original files in ur pen drive once u follow the steps as stated. make sure to take backup of original files 7 format the pendrive.
